You may want bright pink right now, but I think if you paint it that color now, in a year or two you will really regret it. A light lime green would be a better choice. And remember, the color is always much brighter on the wall when you live with it than it looks on the square inch of a paint sample. If you can, try out a shade or two on your wall in an area that is at least a square foot, and try it out in several places - areas that get a lot of light and not much light. Then decide with your parents what looks best. Then get some frames and put up pictures that are meaningful to you - pictures of you and your friends, pictures of animals, or whatever you are interested in. That is an easy way to personalize your space. You can even just frame wrapping papers or colored papers that you like. Put up one or two posters of bands you like, but try not to go overboard with a lot of posters all over the walls.

Paint all walls teal except a feature wall in stripes of hot pink, teal and lime then add accessories in the pink and lime such as cushions on the bed, picture frames, ornaments etc. You can use left over pink and lime paint to cover other stuff such as the picture frames etc. or even small items of furniture like bedside table or storage boxes. Seal furniture with a flat matt clear varnish afterwards to stop it getting marks. Don’t overdo the colours or it will look messy. Less is more!

I think teal and lime green would be great colors on the wall. You could use hot pink as an accent color for accessories. I was at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and saw this sticker wall treatment that is very easy to do.
Here is a great website from Bed Bath and Beyond with great ideas that might help inspire you.
