put in as much as you want. Start with a few drops, see if that’s ok. If you want it more lemony, add more. Sometimes I add 1/2 of a lemon.

green tea is milder than black tea. I drink it with nothing added, no sugar, lemon or anything. Add as much lemon as you like, and it’s okay to feed to little kids too.

Green tea has very little negative side effects, since it’s much milder than black tea and coffee. If you’re giving it to little kids, keep it below 2 cups a day, since it has some caffeine (actually teine). The caffeine content is similar to the caffeine content in hot chocolate or a chocolate bar. It won’t cause any damage, but it can get the kids really worked up, especially if they combine it with a sweet sugary snack.
Adults who are very sensitive to caffeine should also stay below 2 or 3 cups.
You can add as much or as little lemon juice as you want. Traditionally, it’s drunk plain, without sugar, cream, or lemon, but adding lemon doesn’t make it harmful or bad. I like it with a teaspoon of honey and a generous squeeze of lemon juice
