I need a new teen bedroom HELP?
I had the same bedroom for about 7 years now and I need a change. I like the colors hot pink and black but I do not want a goth bedroom. Maybe hot pink and lime green. I have a small bedroom so I am trying to decide between a full or a twin bed. I have an ugly hard wood floor so should I paint it or get a rug. thanks for helping.

get a rug.. trust me, dont paint the floor…
try either painting or using wallpaper for a border in the colors that you like, and accesorize with throw pillows and a rug…
i used to rearrange the furniture in my bedroom every so often.. it made me feel like i had something “new” each time i did it… Good luck!

well soon im gonna get teal and yellow vertical stripes on my wall, you could go that with pink and green if you want, and you could get a decorative cute throw rug to put on the floor.

OK i think u should get either purple and lime green or hot pink and dark red. Just put a rug over the wood because u cant get it back when you paint it. OK for the bed you should get a twin if you use it just for sleeping. I you use it for nothing else get a full. Hope i helped good luck on the room. First of all, PB Teen has some really good ideas for teen rooms. They have all kinds of cool furniture and lamps and whatnot. You can go to
and here there are about twenty example rooms. I just redid my room a year or two ago. When redoing your room, think about the future as well. Pick a color you’ve always liked that goes with everything. People’s favorite colors change all of the time and you don’t want to pick a color that you’ll only like for a minute. First off, I would pick bedspreads that you like and then from there pick the colors out that would go with it. If you’re one of those people that likes constant change like new lamp or new clothes, ect, then you should probably choose a color that goes with a lot of things. Like I picked blue for my room because it can go with a lot of things. Therefore if my bedspread gets too old for my taste, I can change it.
I really like the black and pink idea, and if you go with that, I would get a twin bed. The black will make the room look a little more congested and small, so going with the larger bed wouldn’t help that. The lime green and pink are kind of in right now, and with that I would suggest the full bed. Good Luck!!

I love the color orange. It’s really popular now, not that that matters to me, but it’s easy to find orange trendy accessories. Hot pink is really nice too. You can always accessorize with some black and I think that would pull the two colors together. Definately go for a rug.
