Band Help?

Me and my friend have started a band. He plays drums and I play guitar and piano. We dont have a singer or bass yet, ****? are looking. ANYWAY…we’re working on knocking on heavens door (gnr cover) and were almost done with it, we can play holiday by green day, smells like ****?n ****?rit by nirvana, ****? we need help. What are some other ****?d songs to play? We also need help with where we are going, every band practice is the same, no progress, what are some ***?ps to help us move forward? We know we need to singer, ****? besides that?

What do you think about someone that can play 3 songs on the guitar after 5 months of practicing?

and
‘Holiday’ by Green Day.

(i can also play the rythm to ‘Rock You Like a Hurricane’, ****? im not counting that.)

Green Day’s Boulevard Of Broken Dreams or Maroon 5’s this love?

Green Day is the best rock band, but Maroon 5 gets more noticed now…look bak in their hit songs which is Better :Boulevard of Broken Dreams,the most emotional rock song to most all the people include me or This Love the youngerish teen love catchy song that people will just sing along to …which do you pick?

I say both but if like to play all over again i would say this love

I’m considering moving near Seattle, probably Issaquah.any help?

I am most likely moving in the summer-fall of 2008. I’ll just be 18. I live in the Los Angeles area now.

1.How is the fashion scene out there compared to LA? (I want to be a fashion designer for kids and teens.)

2.Is there any good fashion design or interior design schools near Issaquah?

3.Where is the best shopping? (typical girl question)

I’m into punk. NOT green day, my chemical romance or fall out boy BUT RATHER dead kennedys, black flag, suicidal tendencies, the misfits, and the exploited….etc.

4.Does this music scene exist out there? Where?

5.What is there to do for teens nearby? Ex.bowling, mini golf, amusement parks, arcades…etc.

I’m forced to choose Issaquah because thats where the family wants to move. How far is Seattle from there?

(Christian teens, please) Would it be acceptable to play Holiday (by Green Day) for my sound check at church?

I’ve got a theory that what you play in your personal sound check can make or break the way people think about you (as your sound check is your only spot to freestyle). I love the music to Holiday, and I wouldn’t actually sing the words or anything… I’m not sure if it would offend people, though.
