You know, the ones you buy at supermarkets to re use instead of getting disposable bags all the time.
Just wondering if they are any good for storing potatoes and similar vegetables? - leanne s

I know the theory behind the bags, and it sounds great, but is it really working? I work at a store that offers the green bags, but the problem is I rarely see customers reusing them. We sell a lot, mostly impulse buys, but very few bags seem to be coming back into the store to get reused. If people use them only once or even just a few times, it seems that they would be much worse for the environment. I imagine they require a lot more material and energy to create, and would take longer to decompose. Have you bought green bags before? If so, do you actually reuse them? - Mike W
